Rooted cuttings are always pictured in the listing.

Unrooted cuttings are one node by default, but they might be larger depending on market value, growth speed and availability.  If you would like exact photos for unrooted cuttings, please message me and I would be happy to send them to you. I don't cut them until the day of shipping so they are fresh and hydrated.

I ship USPS Monday and Saturday. UPS shipping is on Monday. UPS does not deliver to most residential addresses on Saturday and Sunday.

If you would like to customize this, please message me.

Cold weather shipping

Free insulation and heat pack is included if necessary.

For temperatures below freezing, please consider having your package held at your local post office for pickup. This helps prevent it from sitting in an unheated mail truck or on your porch all day.

We do not ship unrooted cuttings in the winter because they are weaker than rooted cuttings.

We ship all winter, even below 32 degrees. We have not had one dead plant arrive because of the way we carefully package and insulate the plants.

We have a live arrival guarantee. Read about the policy here.

Due to the nature of shipping plants, all sales are final. No exchanges, returns or refunds will be accepted.

Hoya sichuanensis (lyi NOID) – Veiny Beauty with Bold Leaf Structure

A small-leafed Hoya with big personality.

The Hoya sichuanensis (lyi NOID) is a unique and eye-catching species, known for its medium-small leaves that carry the bold presence of larger-leaf Hoyas. With deeply defined, intricate veining that stands out across the leaf surface, this Hoya delivers a striking look in a compact form.

Despite its smaller leaf size, the plant gives off the dramatic vibe of large-leafed Hoyas like clemensiorum or callistophylla—making it a perfect addition for collectors who love that rugged, veined aesthetic but want a more compact plant.

Whether trellised or left to trail, Hoya sichuanensis is easy to grow and rewarding. Like many Hoyas, it thrives in bright, indirect light and a well-draining mix, and may produce clusters of fragrant, star-shaped flowers in time.

Hoya sichuanensis (lyi NOID) Plant Features:

  • Medium-small leaf size with strong large-leaf Hoya vibes
  • Incredible, detailed veining that adds texture and depth
  • Rare and unique Hoya for collectors
  • Ideal for trellising, baskets, or shelves
  • Grows well indoors in bright, filtered light

Care Tips:

  • Light: Bright, indirect light keeps growth compact and leaf color strong
  • Water: Let soil dry slightly between waterings; avoid constant moisture
  • Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity
  • Soil: Use a chunky, airy mix (orchid bark, perlite, potting mix)
  • Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced fertilizer
