Rooted cuttings are always pictured in the listing.

Unrooted cuttings are one node by default, but they might be larger depending on market value, growth speed and availability.  If you would like exact photos for unrooted cuttings, please message me and I would be happy to send them to you. I don't cut them until the day of shipping so they are fresh and hydrated.

I ship USPS Monday and Saturday. UPS shipping is on Monday. UPS does not deliver to most residential addresses on Saturday and Sunday.

If you would like to customize this, please message me.

Cold weather shipping

Free insulation and heat pack is included if necessary.

For temperatures below freezing, please consider having your package held at your local post office for pickup. This helps prevent it from sitting in an unheated mail truck or on your porch all day.

We do not ship unrooted cuttings in the winter because they are weaker than rooted cuttings.

We ship all winter, even below 32 degrees. We have not had one dead plant arrive because of the way we carefully package and insulate the plants.

We have a live arrival guarantee. Read about the policy here.

Due to the nature of shipping plants, all sales are final. No exchanges, returns or refunds will be accepted.

Hoya NAP016 – Rare and Unique Foliage with Distinct Sunstressed Colors

Hoya NAP016 is a rare and eye-catching species, prized by collectors for its splashy, thick, textured foliage and bold leaves. It is a cross between Hoya Memoria and Rosita. Each leaf displays a distinctive form with a matte surface, giving this plant a rugged, almost sculptural appearance. When grown in bright light, the leaves may develop stunning red and purple sunstress, adding even more visual interest to its unique texture.

This Hoya features a climbing or trailing growth habit, making it versatile for moss poles, trellises, or hanging planters. While it’s mainly admired for its foliage, it’s a strong grower and an excellent choice for Hoya lovers looking for something a little different.

Hoya NAP016 – Plant Features

  • Sunstresses to red and purple tones under bright light
  • Climbing or trailing habit—great for trellises, poles, or baskets
  • Strong, upright growth with visual impact
  • Ideal for collectors and lovers of bold foliage

Care Instructions

  • Light: Bright, indirect light enhances sunstress and maintains strong form
  • Water: Allow soil to partially dry between waterings
  • Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity
  • Soil: Use a chunky, well-draining mix (orchid bark, perlite, potting soil)
  • Fertilizer: Feed monthly during the growing season with a balanced houseplant fertilizer

I love this shop! Marie Ann is proactively communicative, and my cuttings are perfect! The NAP016 I got was more than I expected with kitten soft leaves. I didnt want to stop touching them, but then thought, “How would I feel if I was pulled out of a box at a stranger’s house and they wouldn’t stop petting me?” 😂 Plants have feelings too. Lol. Anyway, this is my 2nd purchase from Chicago Hoyas, and it will definitely not be my last! They ship and pack their plants with care.
