Rooted cuttings are always pictured in the listing.

Unrooted cuttings are one node by default, but they might be larger depending on market value, growth speed and availability.  If you would like exact photos for unrooted cuttings, please message me and I would be happy to send them to you. I don't cut them until the day of shipping so they are fresh and hydrated.

I ship USPS Monday and Saturday. UPS shipping is on Monday. UPS does not deliver to most residential addresses on Saturday and Sunday.

If you would like to customize this, please message me.

Cold weather shipping

Free insulation and heat pack is included if necessary.

For temperatures below freezing, please consider having your package held at your local post office for pickup. This helps prevent it from sitting in an unheated mail truck or on your porch all day.

We do not ship unrooted cuttings in the winter because they are weaker than rooted cuttings.

We ship all winter, even below 32 degrees. We have not had one dead plant arrive because of the way we carefully package and insulate the plants.

We have a live arrival guarantee. Read about the policy here.

Due to the nature of shipping plants, all sales are final. No exchanges, returns or refunds will be accepted.

Hoya apoensis – Elegant Long-Leafed Hoya with Delicate Veining

A graceful and easy-care Hoya with subtle beauty.

The Hoya apoensis is a charming species known for its long, slender leaves and veins that run through the foliage. Native to the Philippines, this elegant vine is perfect for collectors who appreciate the subtler side of Hoya beauty.

Its leaves are narrow, and the faint veining adds just enough texture to make this plant visually interesting without overwhelming your space. Like most Hoyas, Hoya apoensis thrives in bright, indirect light and well-draining soil. With the right care, it may also reward you with small, star-shaped flowers—an added bonus to its graceful foliage.

Hoya apoensis Plant Features:

  • Long, narrow leaves with soft, visible veining
  • Light green, matte foliage
  • Trailing or climbing habit – great for baskets or supports
  • Native to the Philippines; well-suited for indoor growing
  • May produce small, starry flowers in the right conditions

Care Tips:

  • Light: Prefers bright, indirect light to keep growth strong and vibrant
  • Water: Let soil dry out slightly between waterings; avoid overwatering
  • Humidity: Enjoys moderate humidity but adapts well to normal indoor levels
  • Soil: Use a chunky, airy mix (perlite, orchid bark, and potting soil)
  • Fertilizer: Feed monthly during spring and summer with a balanced houseplant fertilizer
