Hoya sp. Sumatra (Wavy Leaves) – Rare Jurassic-Style Hoya

A bold and textured species with tough, undulating foliage.

The Hoya sp. Sumatra (Wavy Leaves) is a rare and visually striking species admired for its thick, rugged foliage with dramatic wave-like edges. Often described as a “Jurassic Hoya,” this plant has a prehistoric look thanks to its deeply veined, undulate leaves that feel as tough as they look.

This species is one of my personal favorites. It shares similar leaf characteristics with other collector favorites like Hoya sp. Takengon and Hoya clemensiorum.
