I have noticed that most Hoya collina lose splash in high light, but this one does not. Although, we know that “aff.” (affinity) in the name means it has not yet been studied, but it is similar to collina. This is common when a Hoya is new, but it also can happen with many old Hoyas.
In botanical taxonomy, “species affinis” (often abbreviated as “sp. aff.” or “aff.”) indicates a plant specimen that is closely related to, or has affinities with, but is not identical to, a named species.
- Size and price depends on market value, growth speed and availability.
- You can pre-order rooted cuttings for a small fee. It usually takes around 1-2 weeks for baby roots to form on most Hoyas. Most will be fully rooted in less than a month.
- If you pre-order a cutting, let me know if you would like it rooted in perlite, sphagnum moss, peat moss, pon, coco coir, coco chips or LECA.
